I can’t say enough about Zac Ell.I’ve been training with Zac for over 9 months and the results are amazing. He is positive, enthusiastic, very knowledgeable and a great motivator.In years past I have trained off and on with other trainers but Zac is by far the best trainer I’ve worked with. He takes the time to explain the theory behind each exercise, how it affects the muscle groups involved, and how it is beneficial.The sessions are geared toward my fitness level and my personal goals. Each session is different as he likes to mix up the routines so nothing feels repetitive. We may do multiple versions of the same basic exercise over the course of a few weeks, but each time it feels new.Zac pushes me each session but at the same time is very aware of my limitations and makes sure I don’t risk any injuries. I don’t think most people find exercising “fun” but Zac motivates me to get in there and give it my all each time.Zac has also discussed diet with me and how that will affect the results I can achieve. He is knowledgeable about nutrition and how it affects the body.I am thoroughly happy with Zac and would highly recommend him to anyone, of any level, as a personal trainer.

“Having been a runner for several years I was somewhat devastated when advised due to cartilage damage in my knee I could no longer run.For months I went to the gym, using the bike, the elliptical and doing strength training. Nothing made me feel as fit as running. I gained weight, got sad and quietly moped. After 5 months I decided that a major lifestyle change was in order.I had seen Zac work with a couple of his clients in the coed gym and was impressed by his patience and attentiveness; it was a big decision to contact him. For the past 6 weeks we have been working together twice weekly.It is hard work but I do see a huge difference. My posture and strength have improved and my stamina has increased. Thanks to Zac’s guidance and the fitness roller becoming my best friend I no longer wake up in the morning with aches and pains.On a personal and professional level Zac is friendly, supportive and extremely knowledgeable. He is purposeful in his training regimes. If I am not able to perform an exercise Zac either reframes it or failing that changes it up so I succeed. Not only is Zac friendly and immediately puts you at ease, he is also enthusiastic, encouraging, knowledgeable, creative, and long-term and strategy-focused. I appreciated the way he asked about my goals and didn't just start throwing out solutions without understanding my situation. I've learned so much already and feel much more ready for the next twenty years, and I recommend Zac to anyone needing some customized advice or regular exercise coaching.

I have been working out with personal trainers for over 20 years, and Zac by far is the best trainer I have trained with. When I contacted him, asking him for a new workout program, he was extremely professional and thorough. When going through the program with me, he taught me things about form I had never learned from other trainers. I have issues with both my shoulders and my hips, and Zac provided me with specific exercises to help increase my mobility, and decrease pain. He is also a great communicator and a lot of fun to work out with. I highly recommend his services!

Before I started with Zac, I had become stalled in my own workouts. Although it felt like I was working out hard, my weight loss had stalled and my fitness was not improving. I was really on a plateau and didn’t know what to do. Zac has helped me so much to break through to another level. He is showing me how to reach my goals and be more efficient in my workouts. He also has a great gift for observing form and posture, which helps us as clients to get the most out of each exercise and keep safe from injury. Oh, and talk about positivism! I appreciate his positivity so much because I leave the training sessions not only thoroughly worked out, but also feeling so good about everything. Zac encourages me every step and pays real attention to my objectives. He is the most enthusiastic supporter for my health goals.
